The Mehat Pur police have booked a Delhi resident on charges of cheating and breach of trust.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Bhupinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gurvinder Singh son of Gurdev Singh a resident of South Delhi.
Manish Sood a resident of Mehat Pur town complained to the police that the accused promised to send him secondhand vehicles and asked him to deposit money in his account.
The complainant said he deposited Rs 38,50.000 in the account of the accused, but no vehicles were sent or returned the money.
IO said a case under sections 406(breach of trust) and 420(cheating) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused,
