SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a person on the charge of brewing illicit country-made liquor.
The Investigating Officer (SHO) Jagtar Singh said that 25 kilograms of Lahann(raw liquor) and utensils for brewing were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Jaspal Singh a resident of Patti Haveli Malsian village.
IO said that a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
