The Lohian Khas police have booked a car driver on the charges of rash driving, endangering life, and mischief.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Manoj Kumar said that the accused has been identified as Gurmukh Singh a resident of Mianni village.
Pawan Kumar a resident of Rupe Wal village complained to the police that the accused was driving his vehicle (PB-09-R-0227) very fast on May 6 and hit his brother-in-law Sushil Kumar Bind’s motorcycle vend (without registration number) from behind on Lohian-Malsian road near Seche Wal village and seriously injured him.
IO said that a case under sections 279(rash driving on the public highway), 337,338(act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against Gurmukh Singh
