SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit liquor.
The Investigating Officer and Talwandi Sanghera police post in-charge Nirmal Singh said 18 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Rajvinder Singh alias Raju a resident of Sohal Jagir village . A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused.
