The Shahkot police on Tuesday night raided a licensed liquor vend and recovered a huge quantity of illicit country-made liquor in the shop.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Baljit Singh said that the police have received secret information that vendor Manav Kumar Dhando Wal Road was selling illicit country-made liquor in his shop.
SHO said that 2 lakhs 81 thousand- and 250-ml hooch was recovered from Manav Kumar and was handed over to the Punjab Excise Department which will act further.
