NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a village resident on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
The Investigating Officer Davindar Singh said 11 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Gurmail Singh resident of Malo Wal Pur village.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
