The Punjab chief minsiter today appointed the chairman of about 66 market committees in Punjab.
Gurmeet Singh Arewala has been appointed the chairman of the market committee Kotkpaura, Lachman Sharma of market committee Jaitu and Amandeep Singh Bawa has been appointed the chairman of the market committee Faridkot.
Kotkpaura assembly segment is being repressed by Kultar Singh, speaker Vidhan Sabha, Faridkot by Gurdit Singh Sekhon and Jaitu by Amolak Singh.
Besides the appointments of the chairman of Market committees, the chief minister Bhagwant Mann has also appointed chairman of five improvement trusts of Merkotla,Machhiwara,Kartarpur,Nangal and Sultanpur Lodhi.
