The Nurmahal police have arrested a car driver on the charge of rash driving.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Daljit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Pardeep Singh son of Bant Singh a resident of Uppal Bhupa village under Bilga police Harjindar Kumar a resident of Uppal Jagir village has complained to the police that the accused was driving his car negligently and hit his bother Pardeep Singh ‘s motorcycle near Natt village on May 28 and seriously injured him and his leg was amputated during medical treatment
IO said that a case under sections 279 (rash driving on a public road) 337 and 338(causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others.) and 427(mischief) of the IPC was registered against Pardeep Singh and impounded his varna car(CH01-AA-6477).
