A 39-year-old woman a resident of Nahl village was killed in an accident caused by stray cattle.
The investigating officer (IO) Mandip Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Amrit Pal Kaur, wife of Baljit Singh.
IO said that the deceased was pillion riding her husband’s motorcycle when lost control of the two-wheeler when stray cattle came in front near Bal Hukami village on Tuesday.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C handed over the body to the family after postmortem.
