The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a villager on the charges of kidnapping and raping a minor girl.
The Investigating officer (IO) Inspector Seema and in charge of the Women Cell, Nakodar said that the accused has been identified as Sachin alias Sarabjit son of Balwant a resident of Chuharr village.
The Father of the victim complained to the police that the accused kidnapped his minor daughter on the promise of marriage and forcibly established physical relations with her IO said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) and 366 -A( procuration of a minor) and 376(rape) of the IPC and sections ¾ of the POCSO Act has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused
