The Nakodar city police have arrested two miscreants and booked another on the charge of snatching a mobile phone from a woman.
The Investigating officer (IO) Kulwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Rohit Khinda son of Kashmir Singh a resident of Rajo Wal Gorsian village under Nurmahal police station and Bablu Kumar son of Ashok Kumar a resident of Udham Singh Nagar Nakodar
Aman Rani a resident of Chak Vendal complained to the police that she was returning after her duty in a clinic on May 25 when the accused riding a scooter snatched her mobile phone near a boutique.
IO said a case under sections 379-B (snatching )34(committing rim with common intention ) and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and Manjindar Singh son of Labh Singh a resident of Bangi Wal village and recovered snatched phone from the accused
