The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor girl.
Investigating Officer (IO)Kulwindar Singh said the accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar son of Lakhveer Singh, a resident of Aalo Wal village,
Jarnail Singh a resident of Gandharan village, complained to the police that the accused kidnapped his minor sister by inducing her.
Investigating officer, a case under sections 137(2) (kidnapping) and 96 (procuration of a child) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
