The Nakodar Sadar police have booked three miscreants on the charge of snatching cash and a smartphone from a migrant worker.
The investigating officer (IO) Janak Raj said that the accused have been identified as Manni a resident of Lambrra village in Jalandhar , Samayal a resident of Seche Wal village, and Arsh Preet a resident of Dara Pur village under Lohian Khas police station.
Santosh Kumar a UP native working in Ladharr village paper mill complained to the police that the d he was returning home from work on February 19 when the accused snatched his purse and smartphone near Adda.
IO said a case under section 379-B (snatching) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
