The Nurmahal police have arrested Inder Jit Singh, a resident of Sange Khaasa village, and his paramour,Mandeep Kaur, also of the same village, on the charge of murdering Inderjit‘s wife, Sandeep Kaur
Station House Officer (SHO) Paramjit Singh stated that Mukha Ram, a resident of Lakha Variya village under Kabirpur police station, has complained to the police that her daughter Sandeep Kaur’s marriage was solemnized with Inder Jit seven years ago, who is a drug addict and has illicit relations with his sister in law( Bhabi) Mandeep Kaur, and tortured Sandeep at her behest and murdered her
SHO said a case under section 103(murder) and 3(5) (committing a crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
