The Bilga police have arrested three Bilga village residents on the charge of murdering a Ludhiana youth.
The Station house officer (SHO) Mohindar Pal said that the accused have been identified as Gurprit Singh alias Gopi son of Mukhtiar Singh ,Davindar son of Nishan Singh, and Lovpreet Singh alias Khati son of Baldev Singh all residents of Burj Hassan village.
SHO said that the accused has murdered Ramandeep Singh son of Gurmit Singh (25) a resident of Hujra village under Sidhama Bet police station Ludhiana.
Rup Singh son of Gurdial Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that his nephew Ramanjeet was going to a shop to purchase domestic materials on February 15 late evening when the accused waylaid him near the house of Kaku and started a quarrel.
Roop Singh has said in his complaint that two accused caught Ramandeep’s arms and a third accused attacked his nephew with a dagger that pierced his chest near his heart, and he died on the spot.
SHO said that a case under sections 302(murder) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused.
