The Bilga police have arrested a Talwann village resident on the charge of an attempt to murder who assaulted his mother.
The investigating officer(IO) Anwar Masih said that the accused has been identified as Gurmukh Singh alias Manga son of Piara Singh a resident of Talwann village
Ravi Rangila a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused caught his mother Nasib Kaur’s hair on February 16 and repeatedly hit her head against a wall with the intention to kill her.
IO said a case under section 307(attempt to murder) has been registered against the accused.
