A 60-year-old married man committed suicide on February 14
The investigating officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Jagtar Singh alias Tara (60) son of Surjit Singh a resident of Patti Bhati, Bilga village.
Sukhwindar Kaur wife of the deceased told the police that her husband committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance.
IO said the police were acting under section 174 of the Cr. P.C. handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
