"The Bhagwant Mann led government is committed to the improvement of education in Punjab and Kultar Singh Sandhwan, the speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and MLA Kotkapura has released a grant of Rs 39 lakh for the construction of new rooms in about half dozen schools in Kotkapura,' said Manpreet Singh Dhaliwal, PRO to Sandhwan.
He said that the state government want to bring the government schools at par with the private schools so that the students can get cheap and best education.
13 new classrooms are being constructed with this grant.
