The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
The investigating officer (IO) Balkar Singh Singh said that 150 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jagroop Lal alias Manni son of Ram Lal a resident of Meinye Wal Moulvian village.
IO said that a case under sections/22(b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
