The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler for selling intoxicant tablets.
The investigating officer (IO) Lakhvir Singh said that 150 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaswindar Singh alias Jass son of Roshan Singh a resident of Sandha Wal.
IO said that a case under section 22 (b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle on which he was traveling with the contraband.
