NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have booked six persons including two women on charges of kidnapping and criminal conspiracy.
The investigating officer (IO)Manjit Singh said that the accused have been as Balwindar Kaur wife of Darshan Singh a resident of Nangal Narain Garh village in Kapurthala, his son Karamjit Singh, Anju wife of Harwindar Singh a resident of Kullar village, Shubam ,Paini and Bobby resident of Uggi village.
The mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter on the pretext of marriage.
IO said that a case under sections 365(kidnapping) and366 -A (procuration of a minor girl.) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
