CHANDIGARH: After the blocked of Punjabi singer Jenny Johal's song 'Letter to CM' from YouTube, the Moosewala family has stood up against the threats being received by the singer. He said that Jenny has known our pain. Moosewala's mother said that we will not hesitate to go to jail for Jenny.
Singer Jenny Johal, who shed light on the situation in Punjab with ‘Letter To CM’, has been blocked, but she has started receiving threats. Today Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh has supported Jenny Johal while talking. He said that the singer has started receiving constant threats after singing a song in his favor.
Moosewala family also condemned the silence of the entire Punjabi industry. He said that Jani's song has made us flutter. Sidhu Musewala's father Balkaur Singh Sidhu said that he was absent for the past few weeks due to ill health and has now joined the struggle. He was addressing the late singer's fans who reached Musa village.
Expressing his protest, he said that except one or two artists, the rest of the Punjabi industry is silent on this issue and both the actors who raised their voice in favor of Sidhu are girls. He said that not only the Punjab Government but also the Central Government is responsible for the death of Sidhu Musewala.
He said that the family is also angry with the judiciary as the judiciary is talking about the human rights of gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu, but their son's human rights are being neglected. So they have no hope of justice from the governments.
