- Faridkot MLA donates blood on the birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
Faridkot: “A single drop of blood is enough to save the very precious human life at a critical time or in case of emergency.If a healthy person donates a bottle of the blood, it can save a very valuable human life. But the healthy person does not have any loss of blood by donating a bottle of blood as donation,’ said Gurdit Singh Sekhon,MLA Faridkot donating his blood at GGS medical college and hospital.
Sekhon said that AAP national convenor and Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had appealed to the AAP volunteers to donate the blood to save humanity and so most of the AAP volunteers are donating the blood on the birthday of Saheed Bhagat Singh.
Sekhon further appealed to the people to donate their blood in case of the need to save anybody’s life.
"Shilekh Mittal, MS of GGS medical college,Dr Arshdeep,municipal councillor Subedar Kamaljeet Singh,Happy Brar, Jagmeet Sandhu and Laly Sandhu were present on the occasion," reads the press release of the DPRO Faridkot.
