Counter intelligence unit of Ferozpur police have claimed to have seized 77 kg of heroine in two separate cases besides recovering three pistols.
The team was led by AIG CIU Lakhvir Singh,which has made this recovery.
This information has been shared by DGP Gaurav Yadav in a tweet.
"The police is committed to make the state drug free and this is one of the biggest haul of drugs the police have seized.The police are checking the backwards and forwards links to nab the big fish involved in this case,"the DGP said in his tweet.
He said that the police are also taking stringent measures to brake the backbone of the drug smugglers and pedlars.
The cases againt the accused have been registered under NDPS act in this case.
