The Nurmahal police have arrested two miscreants for snatching a woman’s earrings.
Investigating Officer (IO) Amrik Lal said the accused have been identified as Lovpreet alias Labha son of Satnam Singh and Amardeep alias Harman son of Satnam residents of Mehat Pur town.
IO said the accused had snatched a woman’s earrings on February 5 on Bilga road.
IO said a case under sections 307(5() and 3(5)() of the BNS has been registered against the accused and impounded a motor cycle and recovered Rs 550 ad a sharp edged weapon from them .
The Nakodar City police arrested Harpreet Singh alias Happy son of Jasveer Singh of Katla Janga village for snatching cash from Auto driver Lachmann a resident of Mohalla Sarana said IO Rajindar Pal Singh.
