NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on a charge of brewing illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating officer Avtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Hansa Singh a resident of Rai Pur Gujran village.
200 letters of lahnan(raw liquor) and utensils for brewing were recovered from his possession. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
