Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal today reviewed the progress of smart city Sultanpur Lodhi projects .
Chairing the meeting of the 'City Level Technical Committee' regarding Smart City, Deputy commissioner asked the officials to personally monitor the development projects .
While reviewing the ongoing projects such as construction of 4 lane roads, sewerage treatment plants, smart parks, smart schools and Anganwadi, Deputy commissioner asked the officials to ensure their timely completion.
With an aim to speed up the work of the Integrated Command Control Center under Safe City project , Deputy commissioner has ordered to constitute a committee under SDM sultanpur lodhi to monitor its progress.
Regarding the construction of Sewerage Treatment Plant, which is to be completed by June 2023, Deputy Commissioner said that the officials of the Sewerage Board should ensure the completion of its work within the stipulated time, which will not only facilitate the cleaning of the city's sewage but also facilitate the farmers to use the treated water for irrigation.
He directed the Public Works Department officials to speed up the tender process for the new administrative complex at Sultanpur Lodhi.
Taking serious note in delay of demarcation for the construction of smart parks, he said that this work should be completed within next few days .
He asked the heads of all the departments to personally monitor the ongoing works related to their respective departments and submit a weekly report.
During the meeting SDM Sultanpur Lodhi Chandrajoti and heads of other departments were present .
