The Shahkot police have arrested a proclaimed offender. The investigating officer Sanjvan Singh said that the accused has been identified as Kamal son of Krishna Kumar a resident of Sarhala Kalan village in Hoshiar Pur and wanted in a case of drug peddling. The Lohian Khas police arrested PO Gurprit Singh alias Bahadar alias Gopi son of Mohan Singh a resident of Dalla village in Kapurthala and wanted in a case of assault, said IO Sukhdev Singh.
