The Lohian Khas police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets and powder.
The investigating officer (IO)Iqbal Singh said that 115 intoxicant tablets,50 grams of intoxicant powder, and Rs 4500 drug money were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurmit Singh alias Sunni son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Pratap Nagar, Bhatinda, and Gurpiar Singh alias Arash son of Raju Singh a resident of Samalsar town in Moga district.
IO said that a case under section 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and their car in which they were traveling with the contraband.
