The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit liquor
The Investigating Officer (IO) Hans Raj said 9 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Kala a resident of Jabalpur village. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
The Mehat Pur police arrested Harbans Singh of Beetalan village with 9 bottles of hooch and released him on bail said IO Rajinder Pal Singh
The Bilga police recovered 50 bottles of hooch and 300 litters of Lahann (raw your) from inside Dhussi Band of River Sutlej near Buraj kela village and booked unidentified persons said, IO Manoj Kumar
