The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a criminal on charges of snatching cash and a mobile phone.
The investigating officer (IO) Amrik Singh said that the accused has Manni alias Mangat son of Jasvir Singh a resident of Kotla Jangan village.
Amarjit Singh a resident of Rangarra village complained to the police that three unidentified miscreants snatched Rs 6000 and a mobile handset from him near Lambrra village on March 28 night.
IO said that a case under section 379-B (snatching) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused and recovered from his possession Rs 6000 cash, and a mobile handset.
