Kultar Singh Sandhwan grants Rs 31 lakh to village Chandbaja for the construction of shed in grain market

Kultar Singh Sandhwan, the Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and MLA Kotkapura on Wednesday granted Rs 31 lakh to the village Chandbaja for the construction of the new shed in the grain market of the village.

The Speaker also granted Rs 2 and 5 lakhs respectively for the development of the government primary school and installation of the solar street lights in the village.

Sandhwan said that there was strong demand of the village people that there should be construction of the shed in the grain market and so have granted Rs 31 lakh for this purpose.

The tenders have been alloted and work would soon begin, said Sandhwan addressing the village people in the common place of the village(Saath).

“The people my Halka have honoured me for giving the votes a second time and it has made me more responsible to do my duty sincerely. I shall leave no stone unturned to carry out the development works in my constituency,” said Kultar Singh Sandhwan.

Sandhwan said that Bhagwant Mann, the chief minsiter of Punjab is committed to fulfil all the promises made to the people of the state.

“It was our CM Bhagwant Mann who was seen in the fields after rains devastated crops and he is a pride for us. I am also highly thankful to the people of the constituency who have elected the common man as MLA second time and was thankful to the party high command for his elevation  to the seat of speaker,” said Kultar Singh Sandhwan.

Gurpreet Singh Chandbaja, president of Bhai Kanhaiya Cancer Roko Society thanked Sandhwan for allocation of the funds to his village.
