The Lohian Khas police have booked a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer Sukhdev Singh said that 18 bottles of illicit liquor were seized from the possession of the accused, Gurdial Singh a resident of Moti Pur village.
IO said that a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
The Shahkot police booked Harjindar Singh and Jaswinder Singh of Bau Pur village for brewing illicit liquor and recovered 800 litters of Lahann (raw liquor) from them, said IO Laklhbir Singh
