NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested four drug peddlers including a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin intoxicant tablets.
The Station House officer (SHO) said that 7 grams of heroin and 400 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Bholi wife of Sarabjit a resident of Patti Takhar Shankar village, Harindar son of Sarabjit Patti Rajoki Shankar village, Vishal Sandhu son of Suraj Bhan and Karan Singh son of Balkar Singh all resident of Shahkar village.
SHO aid that a case under sections 21(a) 22(b) 29/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a bolero(Pb-08-CS-6529) in which they were traveling. SHO said that the three accused told the police during interrogation that they have purchased contrabands from Bholi.
The Mehat Pur police arrested three drug peddlers Ajay Kumar son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Khuram Pur ,Buta Singh son of Nanak Singh, and Gurjit Singh son of Shindar Singh resident of Madhe Pur village in Ludhiana with 190 intoxicant tablets said, IO Jaspal Singh.
