The Jalandhar(rural) senior superintendent of police (SSP) Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar on Friday chaired his first meeting with all gazette officers after assuming charge of his office.
Superintendent of police (SP) (HQ) Manjit Kaur said in a press said that the SSP directed all SHOs to maintain peace and law and order keeping in view the forthcoming Jalandhar Lok Sabha election and ensure a hundred percent deposition of arms and start a campaign against bad elements and proclaimed offenders.
Bhullar asked all officers to implement directions issued by the Election Commission of India.
The press note said that SP Sarabjit Singh Rai, DSP(HQ) Harjit Singh, DSP Kartar Pur Surinder Pal Dhogari, DSP(D) Tarsem Masih, Shahkot DSP Gurpreet Singh, and all SHO of Jalandhar (rural) were present in the meeting.
