The Bilga police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
The Investigating officer (IO)Anwar Masih said that 102 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa son of Mohindar Singh a resident of Meonwal village.
. IO said that a case under sections 22(b)/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused adding that nine cases under the NDPS Act and the Excise Act are pending against him.
