JALANDHAR /NAKODAR
The Punjab Government on Wednesday appointed Amritsar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mukhwindar Singh as Jalandhar (Rural) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in place of Swarandeep Singh who has been appointed DCP Amritsar .
Additional Chief Secretary Home Affairs Anurag Verma has issued orders directing both officers to take charge of their new responsibility immediately.
The government also transferred Jalandhar (rural) Superintendent of Police (SP) (HQ) Manjit Kaur as SP PBI Kapurthala and SP (Investigation) Sarbjit Singh as SP(I)Hoshiar Pur and appointed Manpreet Singh in his place who was SP(I) Hoshiar Pur .
