Three unidentified booked for snatching motorcycle used by Amritpal Singh

 

SHAHKOT

The Shahkot police have booked three unidentified accused on the charge of snatching a motor cycle which was used by Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal singh for fleeing from Nangal Ambian village.

The Station House Officer (SHO) Gurindarjit Singh Nagra said that they have recovered the second motorcycle used in the escape of Amritpal Singh on March 18.

SHO said  that Gurbhinder Singh alias Bhinda son of Harwindar Singh a resident of Malsian village complained to the police that his motorcycle (PB08-BZ-7608)was snatched at gunpoint by the three people on March 18 .

Gurbhinder Singh said he was on a motorcycle along with his friend was hit by a speeding Bullet on March 18 near Sadiqpur brick kiln. Singh was on his way to Talwandi Sanghera village.

The three riders on the Bullet snatched our motorcycle pointing a pistol at us. They left their Bullet and took our bike instead. We returned home on the Bullet,” said Gurbhinder.

 

 SHO said a case under sections 279 (rash driving), 341(wrongful restraint), 379-B (snatching) of IPC and section 25  of the Arms Act has been registered  against three unidentified accused
