NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked an unidentified car driver on charges of causing death by negligence, and rash driving.
Punit Kaur a resident of Rama Mandi, Tehsil Talwandi Sabo in Bhatinda complained to the police that his father Om Parkash was returning after purchasing some eatables at Nakodar on March 21 when an unidentified car driver hit and killed him
The investigating officer Bhajan Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence), 279(rash driving on a public road) 337,338(causing grievous hurt by any act rashly and negligently to endanger human life or the personal safety of others.) of IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
