Sandeep Nangal Ambian's widow demand the arrest of the nominated persons in FIR, security for the witnesses

International Kabaddi player and promoter Sandeep Singh alias Nangal Ambian was publicly shot dead by some people during a Kabaddi fair in Malian village of district Jalandhar on March 12, 2022. The people who have been accused in the murder case have not yet been arrested by the police to which widow of  Sandeep Singh, Rupinder Kaur Sandhu has raised questions on police action. Rupinder Kaur, who came from UK to plead for justice, briefed a press conference in Chandigarh that the conspirators of the murder are roaming freely wherein the state police are not arresting them. She said that numerous written communications were made to the State’s DGP for seeking justice which bore no results in favour of the victim's side.
Rupinder Kaur has also alleged that there has been a live threat to witnesses of Sandeep's murder case for which she has demanded security for  all.
"The captain of Sandeep's Kabaddi team and member of League Kabaddi Federation, while addressing the Kabaddi enthusiasts  on social media had sought cooperation in making Kabaddi clean by revealing the scams in the Federation.  The accused of Sandeep’s murder had also allegedly threatened him on social media platform and took the responsibility of his assisination and warned  if anyone interfered in his work or in the federation’s proceedings would meet the same fate as of Sandeep.  The screenshot of the open said threatening on social media was also submitted to Police with a complaint but fails to deliver results," alleged Rupinder Kaur Sandhu in a brief to the media.

Rupinder Kaur said that those who murdered her husband are very powerful and don't have a shortage of money. They can meet their objectives with contract killing. Kaur has demanded a thorough investigation by forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
She  has demanded immediate arrest of all the accused included in the FIR while demanding immediate protection of the witnesses - Hakam Singh, Pritam Singh, Inder Pal Singh and Sohan Singh. "Those who were named in the FIR should be immediately penalized according to the law,"she demanded.
Rupinder Kaur was accompanied by her lawyer who said that they are with victims and continued to fight for justice for the family of the deceased.
