The Bilga police have arrested a Talwann village resident with an air pistol and live cartridges.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Mohindar Pal said that the accused has been identified as Amandeep Singh alias Amna son of Lehmabar Singh a resident of Mohalla Ranjit Pur, Talwann village.
SHO said an air pistol and 5 live cartridges of 32 SBW.L.KF were recovered from his possession and a case under sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused who is wanted in many cases of snatching and assaults.
