The Shahkot police have booked six persons for voluntarily causing grievous hurt, criminal intimidation, and rioting.

Ballu a resident of Lambrra village in Jalandhar complained to the police that the accused attacked and seriously injured and threatened him on February 20.
IO said that a case under sections 323,325(voluntarily causing grievous hurt ) 506(criminal intimidation and 148 and 149(rioting) of the IPC have been registered against the accused.
