The Nakodar city has booked an unidentified vehicle driver on charges of causing death by negligence, and rash driving.
Pawitar Singh a resident of Chania village complained to the police that his son Anmol Singh and his friend Sukhjit Singh were returning home on his motorcycle on March 5 late evening when an unidentified vehicle driver hit his motorcycle near Sharak pur village and killed his son
The investigating officer Rannjit Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence), 279(rash driving on a public road) 337,338(causing grievous hurt by any act rashly and negligently to endanger human life or the personal safety of others.) and 427(mischief) of IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
