The expressed their satisfaction over the filing of chargesheet in the sacrilege cases in which former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, then deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and then DGP Punjab Sumedh Singh Saini have been accused.
They said that they were in touch with Navjot Singh Sidhu in jail and he is concerned about getting justice for the desecration and related incidents.
"Navjot Singh Sidhu was always demanding justice about it and we are expressing our solidarity with the families and all the people demanding justice," the team said.
They said that the state government must take the case to a logical end and justice must be delivered to the people.
But they expressed their concern on the transfer of the Bagari and Behbal kalan related cases to Chandigarh by the apex court.
It is pertinent to mention that the Apex court on  Tuesday ordered the transfer of the sacrilege cases outside Punjab to Chandigarh on the pleas of the accused Dera followers who had said that they feared their life because two of the accused, Mohinderpal Bittu and Pardeep Singh had already been killed.
