Punjab AAP women wing staged a protest against the arrest of Manish Sisodia, deputy chief minister Delhi who also held the portfolio of education in Delhi cabinet.
"We strongly oppose the arrest of Manish Sidodia who revolutionized the field of education by Narendra Modi led government because of his contribution towards education.It is all a political vendetta and we shall not sit silently on it.It is a dictatorship of Modi instead of being democracy," said Neetu Kapoor, vice president of women wing from Faridkot speaking to the media today.
Sisodia was arrested by CBI in case of irregularities in excise policy of the Delhi government.
The women wing had held a protest in Chandigarh on Monday.
