The Nurmahal police have booked unidentified criminals on the charge of stealing cash and mobile handsets from a shop.
Rajindar Kumar a resident of Mohalla Kohlian complained to the police that unidentified thieves barged into his shop on January 11 night decamped away with Rs 500 and 25 old mobile handsets.
The investigating officer Mangat Gupta said a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380 (theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
The Lohian Khas police also booked four thieves’ residents of Kakarr Kalan village for stealing an underground pipe line from a field of Joginder Singh of the same village said IO Jaspal Singh.
