JALANDHAR
Trauma Care Centre (TCC) at Military Hospital Jalandhar was inaugurated by Mrs.
Rani Sharma, zonal president VAJRA Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA). Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding Vajra Corps and Brigadier Amit Sharma, Brigadier Medical, also graced the occasion. The General Officer complimented the excellent work being done by Team MH Jalandhar and stated that the upgraded facility will strengthen the Trauma Care Services of 11 Corps Zone.
Brigadier Prasad Ravindra Lele, Commandant Military Hospital Jalandhar briefed
the Chief Guest that the renovated Accident and Emergency Services is well equipped to
provide Triaging and Lifesaving emergency care. By means of a Pneumatic stretcher
Trolleys (outfitted with lifesaving monitoring and support systems) the patient can be
shifted for definitive care inside the hospital premises. Electro-hydraulic CPR Beds
(manual overdrive) can provide sophisticated life support to 10 emergency cases at one
time.
The function was also attended by Mrs Ruchi Sharma, Chairperson of Family Welfare
Organisation, Medical Branch, Dr Aparna Lele, Chairperson Family Welfare Organisation
MH Jalandhar, along with specialists, officers and nursing officers of the Military Hospital
Jalandhar.
