NAKODAR
The Nakodar municipal council (MC) has collected Rs over 95 Lakhs as property tax till January 10. The executive officer (EO) Randhir Singh said that the civic body has received property tax to the tune of Rs 95 lakhs against its target of Rs 120 lakhs. He said that the government has given a 10 percent deduction in property tax till September 2022 but now NC is charging a 10 percent penalty from property tax assesses.
