The Nurmahal municipal council (MC) has collected Rs over 43 Lakhs as property tax till January 9. The executive officer (EO) Rajiv Oberoi said that the civic body has received property tax to the tune of Rs 43 lakhs against its target of Rs 55 lakhs. He said that the government has given a 10 percent deduction in property tax till September 2022 but now NC is charging a 10 percent penalty from property tax assesses.
