The Shahkot police have booked two villagers on the charge of stealing a tractor.
The investigating officer (IO) Balbir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Raj son of Ambir Singh and Jagdish Singh son of Makhan Singh both residents of Thamu Wal village.
Gurbakhash Kaur wife of Nachhatar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused stolen her tractor (Mohindra -D1 Pb-08-EP-3519) on September 19 night 2022.
IO said a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380( theft in dwelling house ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
